Sunday the 9th October, 2005.
Sunday morning came upon the township of Mogo,about 5am the first person rose and put the billy on for tea.
 The Local police thought they would give Marty a few hours with his family before he spent time in the local lock up.
 The police had to be careful as Marty has a few young ankle biters not to mention Frederick and his wife Rosie have one as well.
Below you will find photos of  this famlies last few hours together for a long time.



The streets of Mogo were very quite  Sunday morning.The township has had peace restored.

Officer Frederick spends some relaxing time with his wife Rosie, their daughter Suzanna,with them are Marty's two children Becky and Ruthie. All three girls became good friends but it will be aleast one year before they see each other again. As Marty's family is being deported back to Queensland,while Marty serves his time.
Rosie is the local school marm
and this will be the last photo with her students, now she will only have her daughter to school,that is until more families move to Mogo to mine for gold.
Marty's wife Wilma with Ruthie & Becky,trying to find some gold before they head back to Queensland. Wilma is not sure how she & the children will survive without Marty.


Marty is about to be lead away to the stocks.
Wilma saiying"I told you they would catch you Marty"
Marty in the stocks to start his one year prison term. His family are saying their final goodbyes for a year.
